Purposes for Conference Administration
They vividly portrayed their beliefs or purposes for conference status as follow:
"(1) To have good administration.
(2) To win more souls.
(3) We have matured already.
(4) To have unity between workers and laymen to do our work.
(5) Find lost souls fully.
(6) To accomplish the work in UMM soon.
(7) To put spiritual leaders in proper church position /office.
(8) Because Mission's workers are not doing their appointed work.
(9) Follow Mizoram Conference.
(10) Ellen G White counsel-GC down to the local field must be conference.
(11) We want to participate in choice of leader-wider/ bigger.
(12) To support the world mission.
(13) To achieve the goal of being conference.
(14) Already 50 years, but not independent yet.
(15) Decentralize decision-making, not control from the mission."3
